Puerto Rico is one of the most corrupt places on earth-Trump

President Donald Trump has once again, hit out at the Mayor of Puerto Rico, Carmen Yulin Cruz and the people of Puerto Rico, saying he is the best thing that has ever happened to them. He added that the Island is one of the most corrupt places on earth.

President Donald Trump who on Wednesday took to his Twitter handle to blast Mayor Cruz, as the Island yet again braces for another Tropical storm Dorian said: “Puerto Rico is one of the most corrupt places on earth.” while also adding that he was “the best thing that’s ever happened to Puerto Rico!”

Trump who has previously been criticized on how his administration delayed in their responds to the disaster in Puerto Rico during a Tropical Storm (Hurricane Maria) some years back, blast the people for not acknowledging all the efforts made by his administration that no other government has done before his Presidency. In his latest tweet, he urged residents to be grateful to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), as yet again, they will do a great job at responding to the storm coming, which somehow, is a sign that they are more prepared this time around. He said:

“We are tracking closely tropical storm Dorian as it heads, as usual, to Puerto Rico. FEMA and all others are ready and will do a great job. When they do, let them know it, and give them a big Thank You – Not like last time. That includes the incompetent Mayor of San Juan!” Trump said.

According to reports, the Island has been warned that heavy rain could cause landslides, heavy flooding and power outages still recovering from Maria almost two years later.

Mr Trump ordered a state of emergency in the territory on Tuesday evening, which will allow federal assistance to help local response efforts stemming from Tropical Storm Dorian. He had tweeted this on Tuesday about the aid allegedly received by the Island after the last tropical storm, saying:

“Wow! Yet another big storm heading to Puerto Rico. Will it ever end? Congress approved 92 Billion Dollars for Puerto Rico last year, an all-time record of its kind for “anywhere.'” Trump said.

These figures and claims by President #Trump have been reported to be incorrect, but the President in his usual ways, feels the media are the ones who are wrong, as his team has the right figures which he has quoted.
