We haven't moved past anything- Colin Kaepernick replies Jay-Z

Ex-NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick replies Jay-Z on his controversial statement made during his press conference announcing his partnership with the National Football League (NFL), where he said people have past that phase of kneeling. The out of job Colin Kaepernick who started the whole kneeling campaign and someone whose name was made reference to during the Jay-Z and NFL Press conference slammed the President of Roc Nation, saying nobody has moved past anything.

Jay-Z who said folks have moved on with the kneeling campaign to which he sees his deal as a new platform to move ahead to the next phase, got a reply he did not expect. First, it was from the girlfriend of Colin in a post a few days ago, labelling the music mogul a traitor for his move, and now Colin Kaepernick has gone further with his condemnation of Jay-Z with a new post on his Instagram.

TMZ had reported on Sunday that the former 49ers quarterback posted a photo Sunday that appeared to be taking a swipe at something Jay said last week during his press conference with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell when he suggested “we’ve moved past kneeling” to “actionable items.”

The report added that Colin did not see the whole kneeling issue the way Jay-Z saw it, as in his IG post, he included pics of Eric Reid, Kenny Stills and Albert Wilson all of whom have continued to kneel in the years since #Kaepernick first started his racial injustice protest and shared some kind words about them.

He also used similar verbiage to Jay’s in making his point, writing … “My Brothers @e_reid35 @kstills @ithinkisee12 continue to fight for the people, even in the face of death threats. They have never moved past the people and continue to put their beliefs into action. Stay strong Brothers!!”

Jay Z was asked about kneeling directly during the Press Conference, and said flat-out “we’re past it, and ready to take the next steps”. He believes partnering with the NFL is a key way to do that but Colin and others do not think so…but #Jay-Z and his wife Beyonce have the crowd though and are already winning this battle with the support they are already getting.
