Taiwo Awoniyi celebrates his twin sister and himself on their birthday

Super Eagles of Nigeria and Liverpool forward, Taiwo Awoniyi has on Monday, August 12th taken to his social media page to celebrate his twin sister and himself as they mark their birthday.

Taiwo Awoniyi, who turned 22 with his sister Kehinde Awoniyi a few days ago, signed for Bundesliga side Mainz on a season-long loan from Liverpool. This comes after he spent a loan with Belgian side, Royal Excel Mouscron, as he looks to continue his football until he breaks into the Liverpool first team.

The big forward marking his special day with his sister, shared a vintage photo of the of them as a kid, captioning it with these lovely words. This was his birthday message:

“To the most HIGH, with all my unfaithfulness…you still the greatest #to another 365days, God be praised 🙏🏿 There are lots of stories and write up about you both. But In all, without you won’t be here typing this 
I don’t know what life as throw at you before I come of age….but I realized how difficult Life is as I grow in age…. No words can sum up, what you’ve been through but to those difficult and unshared stories 
Thank you for bringing us into this world and making me understand the true meaning of Life…#thanks Dad and Mum#
May God keep and bless you for you not to even remember what you’ve been through
