One of the world’s football legends, Kanu Nwankwo known popularly as Papilo has reacted to the transfer of Alex Iwobi to Everton by his former club, Arsenal on deadline day.
Kanu Nwankwo who is a well-known face at the Emirate, reacted by sending his big wishes to his fellow countryman, thankinh Alex Iwobi for all he has done for the club, since he first stepped into the training centre in North London at the age of 7.
Taking to his social media on Thursday night, he posted a photo of Iwobi and himself, and this was what he had this to say about the transfer of Alex Iwobi to Everton for a transfer fee of £40million. He said:
“Once a Gunner, Always a Gunner. We are proud of you @alexanderiwobi and will continue to support you. Good luck with your new club” he said.
