President Trump following the deadly shootings over the weekend, has called on all citizens of the United States of America to speak with one voice and condemn white supremacy and every sinister ideology which he said must be defeated.

The President who gave these directives on Monday in a nationally televised address from the Diplomatic Room of the White House, days after multiple back-to-back shootings and killings of Americans by gunmen, said:
“In one voice, our nation must condemn bigotry, hatred and white supremacy. These sinister ideologies must be defeated.”

Trump’s national address comes after the shootings in El Paso, Texas and Dayton, Ohio where over 30 people were reportedly killed and dozens more wounded in the shootings. He also backed the new measures focused on mental illness, rather than stricter gun laws.

He denounced the shootings as “barbaric slaughters” and condemned the El Paso shooter as “consumed with racist hate.”

President Trump since the shooting, well even before the shooting, has never been in the good books of some Americans, and the shootings just amplified those hatreds, both from the common man on the street, and celebrities alike.

News reports over the weekend stated that the suspect in the El Paso shooting which killed 20 people and wounded dozens more allegedly wrote a racist, anti-immigrant manifesto that was published just before the attack that warned of a Latino “invasion.” Federal authorities are considering charging him with hate crimes, while others want him charged for terrorism, as they believed he was influenced by the White Supremacy ideology which Trump has been accused of promoting since becoming President.

Trump in his address said federal law enforcement agencies would receive “whatever they need” in order to crack down on white nationalists and domestic terrorism, while also naming several possible steps to tackle the white supremacy ideology, such as a “red-flag” law that would make it easier for law enforcement to identify mentally ill people who should be banned from purchasing guns.

Trump also said people who commit deadly hate crime should be punished with the death penalty in a “quick and decisive” way.
“Mental illness and hatred pull the trigger, not the gun,” he said.

Trump said the problem lies with the nation’s moral fabric, which he said has been damaged by “gruesome and grisly video games” that make it easy for “troubled youth to surround themselves with a culture that celebrates violence.”

The president suggested earlier Monday that a background-check bill could be paired with his long-stalled effort to overhaul the nation’s immigration laws, but did not provide further details or explain why the issues should be connected.

In all, the President still does not think the multiple shootings and killing of innocent lives, especially that of a six-year-old boy was a terrorists attack…some people have questioned how the Police managed to have taken the El Paso shooter alive after he massacred over 20 people and wounding dozens, when some people have been shot and killed by the Police for a mere toy gun…rhetoric
