Cameron Boyce’s cause of death has been ruled as ‘massive epileptic seizure’ by a Los Angeles County Coroner on Tuesday. The late Disney star’s death at the age of 20 was described as “sudden” and “unexpected” death related to epilepsy.
The latest revelation comes a few days after a post-mortem was carried out on the Descendants star on 8 July, and was found to have died from a seizure, but further testing was needed to establish the cause of death, which turned out to be from natural causes.
Cameron Boyce’s death was first reported on July 6, when he was found unresponsive and slumped over the side of his bed at his home in Los Angeles. His roommates were reported to have called 911 and began CPR until paramedics arrived. The Disney star was pronounced dead at the scene a few hours later.
Cameron got his breakthrough in the Hollywood movie industry when he appeared in Disney channel show Jessie where he played the character, Luke Ross. This led to him playing the part of Carlos de Vil in Descendants, the popular TV movie series which follows the lives of the children of Disney baddies.
His death has been received with massive shock from both fans and the Hollywood and Disney family, who are still awaiting the death of his burial.
Victor Boyce who is the father of the late Disney star Cameron Boyce had some days ago shared the last Instagram post of his son, with a message telling fans how the family misses his presence. He said:
“I miss him terribly. I hope that no-one ever has to feel the agony I’m feeling.”
He added: “The outpouring of love and support our family continues to receive is so beautiful and appreciated. Thank you all for helping us through our worst possible situation.”
“My son. Just hours before he was snatched from our lives. I miss him terribly. I hope that no one ever has to feel the agony I’m feeling but no one is immune to tragedy. The outpouring of love and support our family continues to receive is so beautiful and appreciated. Thank you all for helping us through our worst possible situation. ❤️
