Davido who just dropped the visuals to his latest project with American Singer, Chris Brown titled ‘Blow My Mind’ a few hours ago, dragged a fan who tried to troll him saying he was trying to act like American in the video he just dropped. But Davido will not have any of that, as he called out the fan, letting her know that he is Half American and was never trying to act like one.
The Nigerian dropped the visuals to his Blow My Mind music single with Chris Brown on his Instagram account on Tuesday, July 30th 2019, where he said he made Chris Brown to dance in the rain for the first time. Since it dropped, it has been all praises from fans and other musicians alike for his efforts and the new hit. While others were praising the Omo Baba Olowo, and the ‘IF’ crooner, a fan decided to drop her opinion on the video, saying:
“Dav trying to act like Americans funny as hell. But we love you.” she said. But Davido was never going to allow such disrespect, as he hits back saying:
“B%tch shut up I’m Half American” See their exchange:
Davido from available records and what he has told the media, he was born in the United States of America, which makes him a citizen of the country and can, of course, call himself an American or Nigerian-American. But his reply of half American is what some fans are beginning to find funny…but loving the new hit though…
Blow My Mind single with Chris Brown drops at a time the singer was overlooked by Beyonce when she was picking her ‘African best’ to collaborate in her ‘The Gift’ album, which had Davido’s rival, Wizkid, and the likes of Yemi Alade, Tiwa Savage, Tekno, Burna Boy, Mr Eazi and Bankuli all in the mix…No love lost though, as we are sure Davido’s Blow My Mind will surely be up there competing with the Lion King album…#chrisbrown #davido #halfamerican
