The inauguration of the 9th National Assembly has commenced a few minutes ago in Abuja, as members prepare to elect the new leadership of the Red Chamber.
The session is presided over by the clerk of the National Assembly, Mohammed Sani-Omolori.
Clerk of the Senate later took a roll call of all the Senators-elect.
The inauguration of the 9th national Assembly will also see Senator Ali Ndume and Senator Ahmad Lawan battle it out for the seat of the Senate President, while that of the Deputy Senate President is looking like it is going to be between Orji Kalu and Ovie Omo-Agege.
The battle for the Speakership in the Green Chamber will see Bago and Femi Gbajabiamila battle it out for the seat and trust me, it is going to be an interesting outcome.
…I also feel an impeachment move in the future, should in case the majority of the lawmakers especially those from the Green Chamber do not get what they want…I foresee an impeachment.
