Demi Lovato gets a new tattoo to honour her late Great-Grandma Mimaw, who passed on in 2016. The singer in showing off her fresh new tattoo on her Instagram page, shared the special huge portrait of her grandma inked on her left arm.
Demi Lovato who has had her own struggles shared some shots of her new tattoo, done by famed celebrity tattoo artist Dr. Woo. She unveiled the new ink to her followers on her Instagram page on Wednesday.
According to the caption by Demi Lovato, the full body portrait is of her Mimaw at 26 the same age Lovato is now. She captioned it with these words:
“This is for you Mimaw. You at 26 on my arm while I’m 26, and forever. I love you more,” she captioned the pics. She went on to thank Dr Woo for “making her come back to life for me.”
The tattoo, which sits on her left forearm, shows her Mimaw smiling in a white dress with a cinched waist.
Lovato added it’s “the most meaningful tattoo I have ever gotten.”
