Kodak Black indicted by a grand jury after it was discovered that he made a false statement to try and purchase a firearm illegally. The rapper was hit with a 2-count indictment and could face up to 10-years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
According to reports, Kodak Black indicted for lying on firearm applications to buy guns at a Florida store named, Lou’s Police Distributors. The rapper allegedly listed that he was not facing any other serious criminal charges when he went to purchase a gun, without informing the dealer he had a criminal case pending and that he is also a felon that should not be purchasing a gun in the first place.
The charging documents, Kodak’s arrest involved both local police and agents from the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and U.S. Marshals, who said the arrest came as the result of an “extensive investigation.”
Things are clearly not looking good for the rapper, who in the last few days, has been in and out of one trouble or the other, and are all gun related.
