Singer Davido assures fans that he is not scared of anyone, and not even the Nigerian Police, after the arrest of his uncle, Senator Ademola Adeleke by the Police.
Davido who was reacting to fans who asked him to keep calm and lay low for all the political drama going on between his uncle, Senator Adeleke and the Federal Government/Police to die down, said he will not, as the man arrested is his uncle and someone he loves.
Davido taking to his Instagram, put up series of short videos explaining to his followers what love and family means to him, explaining why he cannot give up in supporting his uncle to reclaim his alleged stolen mandate, in the last Governorship election in his home state of Osun State Nigeria.
In the video, Davido assures fans that:
“I am not scared of anybody…people calling me and telling hey! David you have to chill these people are dangerous” he said.
Continuing in the second video, the OBO and Omobabaolowo crooner, said:
“First of all, I am not scared of anybody and they will not do shit…I don’t know what family means to you, but for me, once I call you my family, and I love you, I am going to protect you…I will go all the way to protect you and defend you, that is family and that’s love for me… and people know that about me and when I love you, I love love you” he said
Davido whose single ‘Fall’ has taken over the American airwaves, also confirmed that he will be expanding his family in the nearest future, as he talks about his political struggles. He said what people see him doing now, in terms of fighting for Democracy in Nigeria, which he had earlier said he has given up on, is him fighting for his two daughters, and those unborn. He said:
“My kids, Imade and Hailey and the other children I will have, this struggle is all about them….and is about my fucking country Nigeria, our country and our land,” he said.
This was his earlier exchange on Instagram with a fan that asked him to stop fighting the government.
