Lagos  billionaire businessman, Emeka Okonkwo best known as E-Money has been conferred with an Honourary Doctorate Degree (PhD) by the University of Lagos (UNILAG).

E-money was conferred with an Honourary PhD in Business Management and Corporate Governance at the prestigious University of Lagos at their 50th Convocation ceremony.

Although not much is known about his educational background, he is a man well know to have floated businesses with very little and turned them into a world class and multi-million naira businesses. These businesses range from shipping, music, real estate, oil and gas, tomato paste processing plant, and many more.

Given all his success in business and contribution to the society, especially in UNILAG, it no surprise he was conferred with an Honorary Doctorate Degree in an area he has excelled so well in over the years …master of his field.

E-money taking to his Instagram posted some photos from the convocation ceremony, wherein one of the photos, he can be seen with the Deputy Governor-elect of Lagos State, Dr Obafemi  Hamzat who was also honoured. He captioned the photo with:

“To God be the glory! I have just received an Honorary Doctorate Degree from in Business Management and Corporate Governance at an event held inside the University of Lagos.

I’m joined here by the incoming Deputy Governor of Lagos, Dr Obafemi Hamzat whose father, Olatunji Hamzat (an influential politician) also bagged a Doctorate Degree.
