Popular Surulere actor turned politician Desmond Elliot getting dragged for celebrating the National chairman of his political party Adams Oshiomhole on his birthday and calling him his mentor.
The actor’s comment section of his Instagram has been flooded with some hate comments that even Desmond Elliot himself now understands not everyone on his friend’s list is a fan of the former Governor of Edo State and President of Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC).
While some have accused the All Progressives Congress (APC) national chairman of being part of the so-called Nigerian problems, others have praised him for doing away with the usual norms in party politics in Nigeria. It was only right for Desmond Elliot to celebrate him on his birthday and remind others what the man stands for. This prompted him to use the word “mentor” in his birthday message to the national chairman of his party. He said:
“Happy birthday to an Icon , an astute politician , a mentor , an orator . I wish you many more years of grace . You started my journey into politics the day you formally introduced me to My Leader Ashiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and you have supported me all the way . May God always shine His light upon you . The people’s comrade , Your Excellency Adams Oshiomole . My national chairman”
