Speaker Yakubu Dogara on Friday, commiserated with the family members, the government of Kebbi State over the unfortunate death of Honourable Mohammed Dantani.
The cause of death was not made known as at the time of this report, but the statement released by Dogara a few hours ago reads:
“I received with sadness the news of the death of our colleague, Hon Mohammed Dantani, Yauri/Shanga/Ngaski Federal Constituency of #Kebbi state. He was a man of peace, a fine gentleman & great MP. He served as Speaker of Kebbi State House of Assembly member of House of Representatives.
The House has lost a man of peace, a gentleman par excellence. On behalf of the leadership & the entire members of House of Representatives I wish to extend our deepest condolences to the immediate family of the deceased, his constituents, the government and people of Kebbi state over this great loss.”
