Senator Ogembe who is the Senator representing Kogi State Central Senatorial zone has taken to his social media page to thank Nigerians for their messages and prayers after he survived an auto crash along the Abuja-Lokoja road on Friday while on his way to Okene for elections.
According to the report by NAN who confirmed the accident of Senator Ahmed Ogemebe from one Mr Duke Opeyemi, who is the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity said that the accident occurred at 9 a.m. on Friday, at Gegu community in Kotonkarfe LGA of Kogi state.
The report also said that jeep Senator Ogembe was travelling in with some other people, which was a bulletproof car somersaulted several times but the senator and other occupants of the vehicle came out alive and unhurt.
Senator Ogembe has since expressed gratitude to God for saving his life and that of the people with him. He said:
