Nollywood stars of Ayobami Makun and Omoni Oboli make their debut in a yet to be released Hollywood animation film titled “Elliott: The Littlest Reindeer”.
According to the report by News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) AY and Oboli’s voice featured in the Hollywood animation film, Elliott: The Littlest Reindeer” which is scheduled to premiere on December 14th 2018.
The Christmas-themed film also features Hunger Games star, Josh Hutcherson, Dead pool actress, Morena Baccarin, Jeff Dunham, Martin Short and John Cleese.
The animation follows Blitzen- one of Santa’s sleigh pulling reindeers- announcing his retirement on December 21, giving a miniature horse three days to fulfill his lifelong dream.
The horse has to earn a spot on Santa’s sleigh during the North Pole try-outs in time for Christmas Eve; Elliott and his friend Hazel set out to prove that no dream is too big if you believe in yourself.
AY, who is also a veteran comedian, earned a Guinness World Record recognition for his 2018 film, ‘30 Days in Atlanta’ as the highest grossing film in the territories of Hollywood and Bollywood.
Similarly, Omoni is a seasoned actress and filmmaker, uses films such as ‘Wives on Strike’ and its sequel to address societal issues.
Since NAN reported this, we have check to see whether AY and Omoni are also updating it on their page, but nothing about the news was found on their social media pages. But from our research, the voice cast from the film includes Josh Hutcherson as Elliot, Samantha Bee as Hazel the goat, John Cleese, Martin Short, Jeff Dunham, and Morena Baccarin…
The animated film is directed by Jennifer Westcott from her own script, and produced by Lucas Lynette-Krech and Awesometown Entertainment in association with Elgin Road Productions.
Also, the released date we saw was November 30th 2018, as against December 14th…or probably the Nigerian released date. But we will bring you reactions from both AY and Omoni when they finally decide to confirm the news with their fans and followers on social media.
