Breaking: Samir Nasri to undergo a medical at West Ham

Former Arsenal and Manchester City midfielder, Samir Nasri will be making a shocking return back to the English Premier League, as reports reaching us suggest that 31-year old French man will be undergoing a medical for a possible transfer to West Ham United.

Although no official statement on this from Samir Nasri or West Ham United, a report by Evening Standard suggest that Samir Nasri who is currently serving an 18-month ban, following a violation of the World Anti-Doping Code and Uefa’s doping regulations after intravenously receiving 500 millilitres of sterile water containing nutrients while on holiday in Los Angeles in December 2016, will join the London club.

According to the report, Samir Nasri ban will end at the end of December, after which the former Marseille, Arsenal and Manchester City player is free to resume his career.

Evening Standard also reported that Samir Nasri has been free to train at a club from the beginning of November, however, and West Ham manager Manuel Pellegrini, under whom Nasri played some of the best football of his career at City, is moving quickly to sign the 31-year-old on a six-month contract, with an option for a longer deal, in the face of interest from other clubs, including Everton and several in the US.

…My question now is why go for Nasri? I mean this club sold one of their best midfielders and someone that has been instrumental in the survival of West Ham for atleast three seasons now…Cheikhou Kouyate to Palace…and now bringing Nasri?..lol..Well, do not get me wrong, he is a good player…I guess I will have to have all the questions and answers to West Ham fans…
