The nominees for the English Premier League Manager of the Month for October are out, as the list contains both top and bottom team managers who have managed to push their teams to the first half of the English Premier League table.
The Nominees for Manager of the Month as released by the English Premier League are:
Pep Guardiola: Manchester City:
Still unbeaten at the English Premier League, after ten games, and occupies the top of the League on goal difference, ahead of Liverpool, who are second.
Maurizio Sarri: Chelsea:
This Italian manager, since coming to Chelsea, has shown what he can do, when it comes to playing attractive football, what Italians are not known for, and have done it so well, with Chelsea, that they are also unbeaten in the English Premier League. Chelsea are third on the League table, with just 2-points behind Liverpool and Manchester City.
Eddie Howe: Bournemouth:
This man has continued his good work with his team, and so far this season has been one of the most improved managers and has given teams a difficult run so far. His team has won six games, lost two and drawn two out of ten games so far this season. They are even ahead of Manchester United on the League table!
Chris Hughton: Brighton:
Brighton also has done well, winning four games, drawing two and losing four, and they look like a team that can survive another season, after their successful campaign last season.
The last award which was September, was won by Nuno Espirito Santo of Wolverhampton Wanderers, who won three of their four matches during that period.
