Former Chelsea and Juventus manager, Antonio Conte is to be appointed the next Real Madrid manager, in a few hours or days to come, as the Italian on Sunday was named to replace Julen Lopetegui.
Florentino Perez who had previously met with Chelsea and Antonio Conte’s team over the possibility of him taking over at Real Madrid, was said to have made yet another contact to Conte, after the 5-1 thrashing of Real Madrid in the hands of Barcelona on Sunday evening.
Perez also met with the team of Julen Lopetegui, even before the game on Sunday, where it was agreed that if the result does not change after the game against Barcelona, he will be shown the exit door, and this could be as early as Monday morning.
Antonio Conte is already expected in Madrid on Monday, and if they do not reach agreement early on Monday or this night, Solari would sit in Wednesday’s match against Melilla in the Copa del Rey.
According to a report by Marca, the Coach of Castilla would take over the team provisionally, as the next owner of the white bench will be Antonio Conte, former coach of Chelsea and Juve , as well as the Italian team. Conte was released this week from the commitment he still had with the English team and is already released to be able to commit himself definitively to Real Madrid
Florentino Pérez and his collaborators believe that the situation is unsustainable and that the reaction must arrive immediately. Such was his anger that after the match against Barcelona he did not go down to the dressing room, as he usually does.
The president left quickly and quickly from Camp Nou without wanting to see the players or Lopetegui himself. The environment was not for visits and compliments, hence he chose to leave.
Lopetegui was appointed in June of 2018, during the world cup in Russia, where he had to leave his team, the Spanish team for Real Madrid. He was criticized for the move, and so far his critics seem to have been proven right…he will be sacked tomorrow
