Anita Ukah has been crowned the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN) 2018, as the beautiful lady from Imo State Miss Anita Ukah is the new Nigerian Queen.

The 23-year old Anita Ukah was crowned MBGN 2018 a few hours ago, after beating 35 other contestants in a keenly contested pageant to clinch the top price for the competition.

Anita Ukah for winning the MBGN 2018 will be representing Nigeria in the Miss world competition that will be coming up later in the year 2018, while the runners-up will also represent Nigeria in other world beauty pageant

The show which was organized by the Silver bird group witnessed a large turnout as usual as contestants and families and friends besieged the venue for the annual crowning of the MBGN.

The 2018 pageant was hosted in Yenegoa Bayelsa state, and hometown of the founder and organizer of the MBGN competition, Senator Ben Murray-Bruce who was also present for the crowning.

Congratulations to Anita Ukah as South Easterners continue their domination of the MBGN
The first runner-up was Aramide Oluwatobi Lopez and will represent Nigeria in the 2018 Miss Universe pageant.

Second runner-up was Danielle Jatto from Edo State, who also will be representing Nigeria in the Miss Tourism competition 2018.

The Third Runner-up was Miss Valentina Ogbonnaya from Sokoto State and will be representing Nigeria in the West African subregion for Miss ECOWAS competition 2018

4th runner-up Miss Toluwalope Mary Ayanfalu from Ogun State will represent Nigeria in other competition and all others too, from Miss World down to the least beauty pageant competitions both outside Nigeria and within Nigeria.

Though this year’s MBGN which was won by Anita Ukah was a success, there were some technical issues from video quality and sound. It could have been due to the fact that it was being covered live from Bayelsa where Silverbird presence is not as strong as it is in Lagos. But in all, a new Queen has been crowned, the next step now is the Miss world. Congratulations to all the contestants and organizers…
