Lagos NYSC Camp has witnessed one of the most excited Corpers in the history of the National Youth Services Corps (NYSC) as Corpers went wild in excitement on sighting popular musician, Davido arriving the Lagos NYSC Camp at Iyana Ipaja.

Davido a few minutes ago, shared the  photo on his social media page, as his fellow Corpers cannot believe the singer actually came for his one-year mandatory Youth Service!

Lagos NYSC Camp is where the 25-year-old David Adedeji Adeleki will be serving his mandatory one-year service, after the three weeks orientation camp at Iyana-Ipaja Lagos.

Davido who resumed a few days ago at the Lagos NYSC camp, had earlier taken to his social page to show off his NYSC kits with this caption:
“Otondo OBO …#Nysc .. tying up every loose end !”

Davido is going for the mandatory national service program after three years of completing his university education. He is a 2015 graduate of Babcock University where he studied music.

NYSC is a one-year mandatory service for all citizens of Nigeria both home and abroad, below the age of 30, and exemptions are given to those who have passed the age, but you can be allowed to serve if such a candidate is willing.
According to the Nigerian law, every Nigerian graduate must undergo the training to qualify for gainful employment/ also for political office for Politicians or Political appointment in the country, and Davido though a multi-millionaire, he is not leaving anything to chance.

The FIA, Nwa baby, and so Fly music crooner, ditched Abuja camp for the Lagos NYSC camp, as most people were predicting he was going to pick Abuja camp over Lagos.

Also, given that he is based in Lagos, and the commercial and entertainment hub of Africa is Lagos State, it makes a lot of sense for him to serve in Lagos, so as to continue his music business, while also doing the One-year mandatory National Youth Service (NYSC).

Though the singer has reported to the Lagos NYSC camp at Iyana Ipaja for the three weeks camping, what we do not know now is, if the singer will actually serve or ditch the service after the three weeks camping, which is what most Nigerian celebrities do.
