Ope Dolapo who is the Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP)Lagos and Ogun State has been honoured with the award of “Unique and Versatile Personality in the Nigerian Police Force” by the Nigerian movie industry Nollywood.
Ope Dolapo who shared the good news on her social media page, thank fans especially those of Nollywood (nollyfans) for the special award, while also educating Nigerians on the duties of a Police Officer.
In a post she put up on her page, Ope Dolapo also lectured on her “Job Schedule” as she explains what her duties are and how she has taken up the job of mentoring youths.
Ope Dolapo thanking her fans, and Nollyfans, had these few words to express how grateful she is at being honoured.
I am just a police officer out there doing what i know how to do! A lot of people believe that the duty of the police just arrests and prosecute offenders, I bet so many people don’t even understand that “prevention of crimes” is also part of police duty! I for one have held on to the prevention of crimes as my major dut. I want to prevent crimes through the youths.
The youths are the most productive part of a nation so it’s necessary for me as a police officer to concentrate on his energetic ones to help them channel their energy positively to achieve a crime-free society and in mentoring them this can be achieved.
So, therefore I am exploring the angle of motivational speaking to appeal to their conscience and serve as guardian o ensure they live rightly…This I will do from time to time …so, folks if anyone asks you “what is her job schedule” just tell them it’s mentoring and safety of young lives! Does that sound good? I appreciate nollyfans award for this great award of “Unique and Versatile Personality in the Police Force” wooow I’m humbled and I promised to do more to remain unique and versatile.
