Basket-mouth who is one of Africa’s finest comedians, a few minutes ago took to his social media page to thank fans and friends for all their birthday messages and wishes during his 40th birthday celebration a few days back.
The comedian whose real name is Bright Okpocha is the brain behind some of the best stand-up comedy shows in Nigeria, and are usually sold out comedy shows which has expanded across the shores of Nigeria
Basket-mouth who in celebrating his birthday witnessed a large turn out of guest, could not hide his joy at unexpected A-list guest list, with guest cutting across the entertainment, business and even politics, all gathering to celebrate one of the most successful comedians in Nigeria.
Taking to his social media page a moment ago, Basket-mouth in thanking his fans and friends, had this to said:
“I want to sincerely thank you, from the depth of my heart for honouring me on my day, thanks for the birthday wishes.
To my peeps that came out to celebrate with me, It was great to have had you by my side, I truly hope you had a good time, that’s all I really wanted. God Bless you.”
Mr. Okpocha who never had the best of upbringing in terms of where he was born and raised, but knew what he wanted to become in life. He chased his dreams and used his God-given talent to get himself to where he is today, and that is the man the world is celebrating and will continue to celebrate him and his achievements.
Basket-mouth who is married to his lovely wife, Elsie Uzoma Okpocha, are blessed with two lovely children Jason and Janelle Okpocha.
