Alleged Tax Fraud: PDP charge EFCC to prosecute Bola Tinubu

50 Million Youths Should Be Recruited Into Army - Tinubu

Bola Tinubu is trending on the news again, as the godfather of politics in South-West is being dragged by Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), over an alleged N160billion tax fraud by a company linked to the All Progressives Congress (APC) National leader, and are now urging the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to probe him and the company Alpha Beta for tax fraud.

In a statement released a few hours ago, the PDP are charged the EFCC to probe Alpha Beta, a company linked to Bola Tinubu saying:

EFCC to prove the strength of its integrity by investigating and prosecuting the APC
leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, over allegations of tax fraud by Alpha Beta, a company linked to him.

Failure of the EFCC to invite and question Asiwaju Bola Tinubu over this allegation of N160B tax fraud by Alpha Beta will not only suggest that the EFCC has become corrupt under the President Muhammadu Buhari Presidency, but also exposes the level of rot in the APC administration.

Nigerians can now see how the same Magu-led EFCC, which rushes to pounce on, arrest and lock up innocent Nigerians, particularly, perceived political opponents of President Muhammadu Buhari, without investigation, has practically gone frozen because a member of the APC cabal is involved.

Does it not smack of hypocrisy that President Muhammadu Buhari, who boasted of jailing more looters, is now looking the other way, after a whistle-blower alerted that Tinubu’s Alpha Beta, allegedly swindled Nigerians to the tune of a whopping N160 billion in tax fraud?

Is it not equally hypocritical that under the same Muhammadu Buhari’s watch, where the Federal Inland Revenue Service has threatened to block the bank accounts of tax evaders, a leader of his party had been dragged before the, yet Mr President is pretending to be unaware?
