Star-boy Jersey has been reported to have been sold out in 10 minutes after it was launched to the public on Nike website/stores just this morning, 10th September 2018.
The Star-boy Jersey which is the brain work of Nigerian Afrobeat singer, Ayodeji Balogun popularly known as Wizkid in collaboration with Sportswear giant Nike, recorded a historic sales after it was launched a few hours ago on the website, and Nike stores worldwide.
Wizkid who announced the date when his Star-boy Jersey will go on sale on Saturday morning, could not believe his eye when he saw the numbers coming in, immediately after it went on sale, called the achievement ICONIC…while also thanking the fans for their patronage.
Wizkid will be the first Nigerian born artist going into a fashion collaboration with Nike and selling out in less than 10-minutes, after the historic achievement of the Nigerian Super Eagles jersey for the just concluded Russia 2018 FIFA World Cup.
Wizkid while reacting to his first trial at owning a clothing line, took to his social media page to put out this message:

According to Wizkid, his Star-boy Jersey was inspired by his love for fashion and football, which is why some of the best footballers from the African continent have all given their support to Wizkid, by endorsing the brand and also asking their fans to go and get one.
We are not at all surprised at the Jersey selling out in record time, given what Wizkid has done with the Nigerian Afrobeat music and his recent recognition by some of the world best music producers such as Puff Daddy, and British model and who is also a good friend of Wizkid, Naomi Campbell, and not to talk of world famous fashion brand in Doyce and Gabbbana…and the list goes on…
