Luka Modric has been awarded with the UEFA Champions League Men’s player of the year award for 2017/2018 season, beating Cristiano Ronaldo and Mo Salah to the award.

The Croatian midfielder had earlier won best midfielder in an earlier category, as Real Madrid sweeps this year’s awards just like previous ones. The best goalkeeper award, best defender, best goal, best midfielder and best Men’s player. congratulations to Modric and Real Madrid for the award.

The award is well deserved for Luka Modric, as he had a fantastic season, both for his club side Real Madrid and for his National team side Croatia, where they reached the finals of the FIFA world cup in Russia.
