The Duke and Duchess of Sussex of Prince Harry and Meghan share first photo of their newborn, Baby Sussex two days after his birth.
The Royal couple appeared with the first biracial baby of the Royal family, as father and mother could not hide their joy of welcoming their first child as a couple, in what looked like a well managed first press appearance.
A tired looking Duchess of Sussex, Meghan was photographed wearing a white sleeveless dress, standing very close to Prince Harry who held their newborn in his arms.
According to a report by People magazine which broke the news a few hours ago, when the new mother Meghan was asked what it’s like being a new mom, she said:
“It’s magic. It’s pretty amazing. I have the best two guys in the world, so I’m really happy.”
She went on to say that Baby Sussex “has the sweetest temperament. He’s really calm.”
Harry then added, “I don’t know where he gets that from!”
“He’s just been a dream,” Meghan said. “It’s been a special couple of days.”
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex opted to skip the royal tradition of debuting their baby on the steps of the Lindo Wing at St. Mary’s Hospital in London. Both Princess Diana and Kate Middleton appeared outside the hospital with their newborns soon after they welcomed their children to the world.
The Royal family had on Monday made an announcement on their official Instagram handle telling the world of the arrival of Baby Sussex. The post on Monday reads:
“We are pleased to announce that Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex welcomed their firstborn child in the early morning on May 6th, 2019. Their Royal Highnesses’ son weighs 7lbs. 3oz.
The Duchess and baby are both healthy and well, and the couple thank members of the public for their shared excitement and support during this very special time in their lives.
More details will be shared in the forthcoming days.”
