Falz a few hours ago, shared a video on his social media page, hanging out with American Businessman and Music producer, Sean Combs known famously as Puff Daddy, naming him ‘Oluwadiddy’ (can someone help Diddy translate that in English..hehehe..)
Falz whose real name is Folarin Falana shared the short video where him and Puff Daddy were having fun, and the two looking like they are about to announce something big, as just a few weeks back, Afro beat King Wizkid was with the American entrepreneur and the next thing we saw, was Wizkid shooting a commercial with Piddy’s Ciroc brand.
Though the Nigerian rapper did not made mention of whether or not he is with Sean Combs for any endorsement deals, looking from what has happened before now, we can say that Falz and Pdiddy are definitely up to something, which I feel it has something to do with his Ciroc brand.
If Diddy or Oluwadiddy like Falz named him finally gets the Nigerian rapper to sign any endorsement deal, he will become the second Nigerian in just some weeks that has been signed by PDiddy under the Ciroc brand, after Wizkid a few days ago.
Falz whose remix of Childish Gambino’s ‘this is America’ as ‘This is Nigeria’ making his own version reposted by PiDiddy getting so many likes and reactions.
Falz version addressed some of the issues Nigeria and Nigerians are facing, and not too long the music and video dropped, the government banned it, but the most important thing about the song and the video was that message was past and received. It is clearly a plus for the Lawyer turned musician and Nigeria in general.
Puff Daddy who in his video with Wizkid said he was coming back home (Nigeria) and will not wait until he is old and cannot move about, while also calling Wizkid ‘black king’. This meeting now with Falz could be him gradually getting home, and very soon he will be issued an invitation to visit Nigeria.
