Real Madrid are said to be preparing a huge bid for Paris Saint Germain and world cup winner Kylian Mbappe before the transfer window closes to replace Cristiano Ronaldo
The Spanish giant are looking to find an immediate replacement to Cristiano Ronaldo who left the club for Italian Serie A side, Juventus for a transfer fee of £88million.
The two possible prospects Real Madrid are looking at are Kylian Mbappe and Neymar Jr. who are both of PSG. It is going to be a difficult one no doubt, but Real Madrid are willing to pay any asking price for either of Neymar or Kylian Mbappe to join the team.
Real Madrid at the open of the transfer window, were linked with a lot of players, such as Chelsea’s Eden Hazard, Harry Kane, Lewandowski and many more. But the board were put off by the asking price of some of these players, especially Eden Hazard who looked more likely earlier in the transfer market to sign, but the huge price tag, discouraged them from making the move.
Real Madrid would have to pay as much as £160million to have Kylian Mbappe before deadline day, and it all depends on what the player wants to do, after leaving Monaco to PSG. If he makes the move, it will be one of the fastest moves in football, within three clubs in two seasons.
Mbappe though, is still a Monaco player, given that he only signed on loan pending when UEFA and PSG resolve their financial fair play violation case, and if all goes well and the case goes against PSG, Real Madrid could trigger his buy-out-clause and have their man.
Given what Kylian Mbappe has achieved both for his club PSG and country France, it will be very difficult for Real Madrid to sign the player, as PSG will possibly not entertain any bid from any club, even when Mbappe is technically not their player.
All that will determine whether or not the French winger stays with PSG or Real Madrid, will all depend on the case that will be heard on August 30th by UEFA on Financial Fair Play violation.
Also, Neymar could be a possible replacement for Ronaldo, and Real Madrid are willing and ready to pay his huge buy-out-clause.
We all have to wait to see what happens, between now and August 30th as Real Madrid and PSG count days to transfer deadline.
