Wizkid has been spotted with yet another African President, and this time, it was the President of Benin Republic, Patrice Talon in Cotonou.
The Afrobeat King shared the photo on his social media page posing with the President in Cotonou.
Since Wizkid started his music world tour, he has been pictured several times with Presidents, showing how big and influential the Surulere music crooner has become.
The musician who recently signed an endorsement deal with Puff Daddy becoming one of the ambassadors of one of his products shared the photo of the two of them at the Presidential Villa in Cotonou, where Wizkid and his crew had gone on the invitation of President Talon.
Wizkid who joined other African artists to perform in Cotonou, a neighbouring country in West Africa, could not believe the amount of love expressed towards him and his music at the concert.
Benin is a French-speaking country but with some influence of the Yoruba culture, they danced and sang along to all of Wizkid’s songs to the delight of the man that has taken the African rhythm to a new height.
He shared the photo with the caption:
“Thank u Mr President Patrice Talon!! Thank u for the love and Hospitality! Rep of Benin my new home ”
Patrice Talon will not be the first president Wizkid will be meeting, especially in Africa as throughout his world tour and since becoming a global star and King of the Afrobeat he has met a number of President and this will not be the last.
The other Nigerian superstar that was at the Contonou concert in Benin Republic, was Davido who also performed as the Nigerian trade keeps spreading all over the world like a virus.
The ‘Choima’ music crooner just like Wizkid thrilled the crowd with some of his hit singles, as the crowd could not get enough of the Nigerians making Africa proud.
After putting up the photo of himself and Benin President, Wizkid whose real name is Ayodeji Balogun, announced some dates of his next shows, which include the United and United Kingdom.
