The call by the Federal Government through the Ministry of Health for private individuals, especially private companies to also invest and support the Nigerian health sector has started yielding some results, as Japanese Government donates 12 Ambulances.
The Ministry just yesterday, received a total of 12 Ambulances from Japanese Government aimed at supporting and assisting medical delivery and services in the country.

Receiving the Ambulances, the Minister of Health Professor Isaac Adewole who received the vehicles thanked the representatives of the Japanese Government for their kind gesture and support towards health care in the country, as he promised the Ambulances will be used for purposes which they were meant for.
The Minister who at a small ceremony of unveiling the vehicles, said the Ambulances will be distributed to Teaching Hospitals and Federal Medical Centres across the country, to assist in providing efficient healthcare services to Nigerians
