Nigerian and Arsenal midfielder Kelechi Nwankali joins Portuguese champions, FC Porto on yet another season-long loan.

The Nigerian U-23 star will be featuring for the B-side of the club, as he keeps improving and learning, with the hope of making his move permanent this time.

Kelechi Nwankali born in 1998, was the captain of the triumphant Nigeria U-17 team in 2015, where he won the Golden Ball as the most valuable player of the tournament. He later joined Arsenal after the competition, going on loan twice with MVV Maastricht in 2016, then VVV-Venlo in 2017, and now FC Porto.

The player who shared the news on his social media page, praised God for his latest move, saying:
“My main goal is to develop and evolve as a player, to improve my qualities and the other aspects that I know I need to correct to grow in the way I play. I think FC Porto is the right place to evolve as a player.

“I know Porto very well because one of my idols always in football played here: Deco. He was a player that I loved to watch and I hope one day being able to meet him and tell him the importance he had in my desire to be a football player.”
