The National Convention of the ruling party The All Progressives Congress committee members yesterday met in Abuja to inspect the venue of the convention holding on Saturday. The members comprising of governors, ministers and heads of parastatals all were on the ground alongside security agents to make sure everything is set for the much anticipated APC National Convention.

The APC will be looking to have a hitch-free convention unlike the ward and state congresses that were mostly marred by violence and in some states, killings and disruption of properties. But given the not so rosy relationship between the members of APC in the National Assembly and the executive, it is not yet unknown if there will be any surprises come Saturday, as the party elects its members for the next elections in 2019.
