This must be the season of “Honour” as yet another name has been thrown up by Senator Dino Melaye for President Buhari to include in his of those to be Honoured.

The Senator who had earlier condemned the President for not following the laws in his decision on late Chief MKO Abiola has asked the President to honour Professor Humphrey Nwosu the then former chairman of National Electoral Commission, now Independent National Electoral Commission INEC.

The Senator from Kogi state said professor and former chairman of the National Electoral Commission who in the face of wealth refused to be corrupted rather, chose the part of honour and truth, should be honoured for that singular act of bravely, and name added to those of Late MKO Abiola, Baba Gana Kingibe and Late Chief Gani.

Senator Dino Melaye taking to his social media page said:

I call on President Buhari to please recognise Prof Humphrey Nwosu the then chairman of the National Election Commission who refuse to be corrupted and took the path of honour and truth.
