Manchester United has announced reaching an agreement with Shakhtar Donestsk midfielder, Fred. The club while making the announcement did not mention the fees involved, but said on their social media page that they have reached an agreement with the player’s agent. The player is 90% sure to become a United player in the coming days.
The Brazilian who is just 25, is a box-to-box midfielder, and is coming could pose a serious problem for the likes of Paul Pogba, Herrera and even Sanchez and Lingard, not to talk of Mata.
Jose Mourinho whose relationship with Paul Pogba is a bit frosty, and rather than allow him leave United, he could play him in a three midfield with the French man, Matic and Fred in a 4-3-3 formation, which has been Jose Mourinho’s favourite formation.
