Popular Nollywood actress, Mercy Johnson Okojie has announced the untimely death of her mother. The Nollywood actress who is also a Special Assistant to the Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello, earlier today, took to her Instagram page to share the sad news.
Mercy Johnson who did not say what killed her mother shared the message on how heartbroken her family is by the news. She pleaded for understanding from her fans and the general public to respect the privacy of the family as they mourn. Putting up a candlelight image on her social media page, she said:
It deeply saddens me to say that my beloved mother is gone. This is a trying time for my family and we would appreciate your prayers, even as we plead for our privacy at this time. Thank you
