This means that figure is likely to increase in the coming years as the state re strategies.

On the number of the certificate of Occupancy that has been issued by the Governor, the Bureau said, since the coming of Governor Ambode,

obtaining title documents is now with ease in Lagos, as the Governor has signed a total of 727 Electronic Certificate of Occupancy (E-C of O) within the period under review.

The Bureau also when further in their review to state that through the Directorate of Land Services discovered that about 751 Governor’s Consent on Subsequent Transaction on land applications was pending due to the fact that applicants were yet to make payments on the Demand Notices issued to them.

Within the period under review, receipt of applications on the subsequent transaction on land has been quite impressive which shows that Lagosians are more aware of the essence of titling their landed properties.
