The Deputy Governor of Ekiti State and the anointed candidate of Governor Ayodele Fayose, Professor Kolapo Olusola Eleka has won the just concluded Ekiti State Governorship Primaries. He is now the Peoples Democratic Party’s candidate for the July 14th Governorship election in the state.
The candidate as announced by the Governor of Delta State, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa who monitored the Primaries in Ado-Ekiti, announced Professor Eleka as the winner, with a total vote of 1,968 against that of second runner-up, Prince Adedayo Adeyeye who scored 770.
