English Premier League Side, Southampton has parted ways with their manager, Mauricio Pellegrino. The club made the announcement on their social media handle late night yesterday on the latest sacking. This will be the second manage sacked that will be leaving the club in less than two years, after the sacking of Claude last season even after finishing 8th on the table.

The club in a bid to bring back the winning mentality and save the club from further drop off the league table was forced to make the change when relegation-threatened Newcastle trashed them 3-0 at the weekend. That result over the weekend means they have now gone 17 games with just one win, and just eight games remaining. Pellegrino who was appointed last summer did well initially, but injuries to his strikers mean they struggled to score goals, and Long who is presently the only striker available is going over a year with just one goal. The club on their Instagram handle said:
