The game between Chelsea and Barcelona in tomorrow’s Champions League game, seems to have been the most talked about on social media, and among fans alike. The game no doubt will be an interesting one, as the Laliga League leaders Barcelona are facing one of the struggling English Premier side in Chelsea. But like history would remind us, the tiers between these two teams have over the years, has been evenly shared result wise, as it has always been defence against attack, and tomorrow’s game will be no different.
Barcelona has been in great form this season domestically, and although have struggled in some games, but compared to Chelsea, whose run this season seems to have been more downs than ups, Barcelona are favourite to advance to the next stage of the competition.
One man that will be the focal point for Chelsea in tomorrow’s game, will be Eden Hazard. He will be going head to head with the man he has been constantly compared to, and whether we have seen the best of Hazard or not, tomorrow’s game will give us some more insight on the abilities of the Belgian. The Belgian himself earlier on his press conference seem to have measured the pressure on him to perform, as he talked on how he need to be at his best in the tie if ever he will be regathered as one of the best in the world. He said:
‘It’s good to be compared with the greatest ever, Messi and Ronaldo, but I’m different. I try to reach their level because they are the best in the world. In this kind of game you need to perform if you want to be one of the best.’
‘I have played for Chelsea for six years now and I am happy here, my family is happy here. I am just thinking about the game tomorrow and the rest of this season.’
