South Africa and Sound City MVP Hip Hop winner, casspernyovest shows of his award as he express his appreciation to fans for their votes. The South African won the award, after beating the likes of Nigeria’s M.I, Olamide and Sarkodie of Ghana, as the Hip-hop MVP.
The award ceremony which held at the eko hotel last Friday, saw the rapping taking to his page to express his delight and explains his humble journey to fame. He said:
” I can’t express how much I appreciate this award. It gives me hope for SA hip hop and African hip hop as a whole. It says “keep going, you’ve got the right direction.”
I didn’t have to change my sound or try and be something that’s more appealing to other African countries. They love me as I am. A Tswana Boy from Mafikeng did that!!! Shout out to the African Hip Hop fans!!! Thank you for the votes!!! All the glory to God. #SoundCityMvp
