Fans are reacting to a tweet put out by Stephanie Victoria Allen, who goes by the stage name, Stefflon Don. She had tweeted saying she wants a baby by next year or the year after, as she prepares for her 29th birthday anniversary.
Stefflon Don who is known to be dating two-time Grammy-nominated and multiple awards winning Afro-beat singer, Burna Boy, took to her official Twitter handle on Tuesday 8th December 2020, to put out a series of Tweets talking about her upcoming birthday, where she shared some birthday wishes.
She said:
“My birthday is less than a week away and I swear to God I want gifts from everyone!!!! Even if it’s one rose you stole from tesco,” she started her tweet.
She continued with the one that got the attention of her fans,and that of Burna Boy. She said:
“I want a baby next year or the year after,” she added.
Stellon Don was born on 14th December 1991. And although there have been rumours going around that her boyfriend, Burna Boy cheated on her with yet another lady, which the two are yet to confirm or deny, she seems to have gone about her business promoting her music, and not giving ears to none of that.
In a recent interview with GQ magazine, where she spoke about her latest afrobeats-influenced single, “Can’t Let You Go” which was done in Yoruba, she told the magazine that it was influenced by her environment:
“My upbringing definitely made me more open to different genres of music, different sounds and different languages, because I grew up around so many people from different backgrounds,” she said.
“When you speak another language I think you’re automatically a little bit more diverse than someone who just speaks one language.”
While fans have linked her latest job to her Boyfriend Burna Boy, she told the magazine about her background and how she got to learn about other people, their language, background and culture.
She was born to Jamaican parents, her first four years were spent in Birmingham, until her family moved to Holland to be with her father. For a decade, Rotterdam was home, where she lived with six siblings and became fluent in Dutch, until they moved back to the UK and settled in London.
The rapper who already has an eleven-year-old son from a previous relationship, had confirmed over two years ago, that she was in a relationship with the African Giant. She had said this after Burna Boy shared a video her sleeping on his chest while he lay topless.
Stefflon Don who also appeared to be staying with Burna Boy during her visit to Nigeria at the time, made herself right at home. In one video on his Instagram, Steff is seen cooking in the kitchen before admiring the beautiful view from what looks to be a pretty stunning mansion in another shot.
Steff then answered some questions from her followers, including one which asked if she was really ‘half Nigerian’, to which she replied: ‘No but my kids will [probably] be.’
Her latest tweet could be her telling fans to be expecting some Burna babies in the near future.
