Queen Elizabeth is said to be mourning the death of her beloved Dorgi Vulcan, who was said to have passed away due to old age. The sad news means that the Queen is now left with just one dog.
The 94-year-old Queen Elizabeth was said to have lost her Dorgi Vulcan at the Windsor Castle.
According to a Palace source who spoke to The Sun, said the Queen is ‘upset’ at the loss. ‘Clearly the loss of a loved pet is upsetting.’
The Queen’s love of dogs has been well documented over the years. He and Candy featured on the front of Vanity Fair with the Queen in 2016 in celebration of her 90th birthday, the UK Metro reports.
The monarch has owned 30 corgis, all of which are believed to be descended from a pet called Susan which was given to the monarch as a gift on her 18th birthday. News of Vulcan’s death comes days after the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge lost their nine-year-old dog Lupo, the report added.
