The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed 649 new cases of the novel coronavirus, as total positive cases in Nigeria, hit 22,020
NCDC taking to their official social media handle on Wednesday 24th June 2020, reported that 649 new cases have been reported with Lagos state once again, recording the highest number of positive cases. The state recorded 250 positive cases, and Oyo State with 100 positive cases on Wednesday.
According to the specialist centre, the 649 new cases were recorded in 22 States across the country, including the Federal Capital Territory.

The information published by NCDC on Wednesday 24th June 2020, shows that a total of 22,020 positive cases have been reported in Nigeria. Also, as at this date, 7,613 patients have been discharged, with 542 deaths recorded.
