COVID-19: NCDC Reports 417 New Cases With Total Now 49,485

The Nigeria Centre For Disease Control (NCDC) has recorded 315 new cases of the novel coronavirus, as total confirmed cases in Nigeria as at Monday 8th June 2020, now stands at 12801.

According to the report by the NCDC, which in its daily update on its official Twitter handle once again updated Nigerians on the situation of the coronavirus in Nigeria, confirmed that aside from the 315 new cases recorded on Monday, about seven more deaths were reported cross some states of the federation. The centre reported that, the deaths have to do with complications related to the coronavirus.

Five deaths were recorded in Lagos, one each in Kano and Katsina.

From the reported 315 new cases reported by NCDC, figures shows that this latest cases stems from 1442 tests conducted by the centre, where distributions so far show Lagos state remains the epicentre of the virus in the country, recording 128 new cases. Others are as follows:
