Popular Nollywood actress and producer, Mercy Johnson has welcomed her newborn, a baby girl. This good news is coming a few weeks after she was rumoured to have given birth.
The arrival of Mercy Johnson’s baby girl, which is her fourth child, was announced by her husband, Prince Okojie on his social media handle.
Prince Okojie in making the announcement on Monday 4th May 2020, posted series of photos of Mercy Johnson on a hospital bed with her newborn baby girl, with a caption that reads:
“The wait is finally Over, Please share in Our Joy as we announce the arrival of Our Daughter,” an excited Prince Okojie said.
Thanking God for their newborn baby girl, the husband on behalf of the family thanked God for safe delivery, and the beautiful gift, saying:
“Every Good and Perfect gift is from God. Divine-Mercy Ehinomen Okojie,” he added.
If you recall, we reported here that Mercy Johnson’s husband, Prince Okojie had on the 26th April 2020 reacted to the ‘fake news’ about his wife welcoming her 4th child, where he called it a piece of ‘good news’ but said his wife was yet to put to bed.
He said he woke up to see countless missed calls and messages on his phone, all congratulating him on the arrival of their new baby. But added that
although the news is not true, as they are still expecting, all the same, his family are thankful for the show of love.
He said:
“I woke up this morning to see countless missed calls and messages congratulating me on the arrival of our new baby.
We are so thankful for the show of love, but my wife @mercyjohnsonokojie has not put to bed yet, it is good news and I will certainly update you all when it happens.
Thank you and God bless,” he had said then.
