Davido has just confirmed that he has recorded a new song with U.S and multiple award winning rapper, Nicki Minaj!, as the new song which title is yet to be made public according to OBO, was produced by Speroach.
If and when this new song drops, it will be yet another A-list artist under Davido’s belt, who keeps pushing his artistic boundaries with his numerous features of world music stars, outside of the Afrobeat-AfroPop music genre.
The latest feature with the U.S rapper, Nicki Minaj was not just the only good news shared by Davido with his fans, he also revealed that his new album will be dropping in July, as fans cannot wait any longer.
This was his post on his official Twitter handle confirming his latest collaboration with rapper Nicki Minaj on a new song. He thanked her for the opportunity to be able to work with her. He said:
There is no doubt Davido is the biggest musician out of Africa, as it is a common knowledge that, in the last decade or there about, OBO has established himself as Afrobeat powerhouse worldwide.
Although we do not know the direction the new song would take or took, one thing is sure, it is going to be a jam! that could shattered some records.
This news will definately kickoff some hot debate among Davido’s fans and that of Wizkid, #WizkidFC…we cannot wait to see these debates!
