Manchester United Midfielder, Paul Pogba has taken to his social media to share lovely photos of his mother, wife and son to mark mother’s day.
The world cup winner who has missed much of the season with an ankle injury and was getting ready for a return before the suspension of the English Premier League due to the coronavirus pandemic, took to his Instagram page to post the photos borrowing some quotes from the Quran as a caption. He said:
“A man came to the Prophet and said, ‘O Messenger of God! Who among the people is the most worthy of my good companionship? The Prophet (PBUH) said: Your mother. The man said, ‘Then who?’ The Prophet said: Then your mother. The man further asked, ‘Then who?’ The Prophet said:
Then your mother. The man asked again, ‘Then who?’ The Prophet said: Then your father. (Bukhari, Muslim) Happy Mother’s Day if you still have a mother tell her that you love her and thanks her for everything and always pray her no matter what ❤️🤲🏾,” he said.
Mother’s Day was yesterday and the 27-year-old Paul Pogba is just celebrating the two most important women in his life a day after.
Although the French man has been given hints of his imminent return to the field of play, but whether or not he will remain with United, is still a matter up for debate.
There are reports that Woodward is still hoping to tie Pogba to a new long-term deal and ward off suitors, as Real Madrid and Juventus are reported to be the next destination for the French man, who is more willing to leave England and return to his old club of Juventus.
Manchester United without a doubt, will be paying more in wages, if they decide to give the French man another contract (which they are willing to do), but they could be talked out of it, and cash in instead, after the arrival of Fernandes and his impact so far in the games played.
While the league suspension last, we will see how both Raiola and the United board will look to settle their differences or part ways amicably…time will tell.
