Popular rapper and filmmaker, Curtis Jackson ’50cent’ has announced that he will be serving as the executive producer that will produce and finish Pop Smoke’s posthumous album.
50cent who like every other music/rap fan received the shooting and killing of the 20-year-old Brooklyn rapper with huge shock, on Sunday took to his social media to announce to the world what he intends doing to the late rapper’s unfinished album.
“I’m on the move listening to Pop smoke, I decided I’m gonna executive produce and finish his album for him,” he said while sharing a photo of him hanging around a private jet.
50’s decision received the support of Steven Victor, CEO of Victor Victor Worldwide, where Pop was signed.
Pop Smoke whose real name was Bashar Barakah Jackson, was said to have been shot and killed last month inside a rented Hollywood Hills home. The tragic incident was a targeted hit by yet to be identified marked men and that conclusion is supported by surveillance video.
The police investigating the murder are finding it hard to identify the gunman or gunmen, as they are finding it difficult to get an eye witness.
The move by 50cent was motivated by the fact that Pop Smoke in one of his interviews had called 50cent his role model and they were really close before he was killed.
50cent who like other celebrities called the shooting as an act of jealousy is about to make his posthumous album as big as possible, with Roddy Ricch already on board.
