Veteran Nollywood actress, Joke Silva shares some lovely photos, as she announced the birth of her granddaughter. This is so, as her son with husband Olu Jacobs, Soji and his wife Boma Douglas-Jacobs welcome their first child since their marriage last year.
Joke Silva who could not hide her excitement shared the photos on her Instagram page, welcoming her beautiful granddaughter. She put up the photos showing her granddaughter Oluwasoromidayo Atarah Owanaemi Jacobs who was born in Maryland, USA, one week ago, with these lovely words:
“When you went into labour …my very own Blessing…my own Morounkeji..@mrsjacobs_jnr ..I wasn’t expecting such anxiety!!!What !!! May be because we are oceans apart…but God …Merciful God…whose mercies are new every morning…whose Faithfulness is great indeed…made all things beautiful…and our Oluwasoromidayo Atarah Owanaemi Abimbola.. has come..Soji @mrjacobs_jnrthank you for your incredible calmness? I cant wait to hug you all.??”
Olusoji Jacobs and his wife Boma Douglas had their wedding last year on the 13th July 2018, which was a huge and very colourful ceremony in Lagos, that had all the Nollywood celebrities in attendance.
The couple’s traditional wedding took place in Buguma, Port Harcourt a week earlier, but the church ceremony on July 21, held in Lagos where Pastor Tony Rapu of This Present House Church officiated the ceremony, overseeing the couple’s exchange of wedding vows.
Olusoji who also posted about his daughter with his beautiful wife Boma, added these words to welcome the newborn. He said:
“We are truly blessed??Our Daughter Oluwasoromidayo, Atarah, Owaneni, Abimbola has arrived. My Warrior @mrsjacobs_jnr delivered like the Hebrew women.✊??? @ajokesilva @_olujacobsThe Jacobs Clan just got bigger. @douglasddimkpa power to the South???”
